The FreeGirl Freedom Run is a 5K run/walk kicking off in the Spring of 2010 in Delray Beach, Fla. This will be an annual event that will unite community leaders, families, students, professional groups, companies, and many more in taking positive steps to raise awareness and end violence against women.

 

 

Each October, community members – consisting of teams and individual walkers and runners – take to the pavement to raise awareness about gender-based violence and to raise funds for the The FreeGirl Foundation.

• This fun event is officially timed and awards are given to top finishers
• Teams and individuals fund-raise online and through personal connections
• Free breakfast and event T-shirts are provided for all
• The FreeGirl Freedom Run is truly a collaborative effort toward ending violence against women
