FreeGirl’s Relaunch!
Bostons on the Beach in Delray Beach, Florida was the site of our May 14, 2009 Kickoff event that included Jewelry Blingo where FreeGirl supporters all played Bingo and won some beautiful Jewelry donated by Valerie Clark of Heart of Gold Fundraising.
Attendees also participated in a “gold buy” where they bought in their unwanted gold and were paid in cash on the spot. Everybody enjoyed awesome giveaways, food, drinks, and FUN all for a great cause to help FreeGirl make the world a safer place for our wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, nieces, and female friends!
Area businesses gave generously to our silent auction and raffle and many walked away with very exciting prizes! We invited 40 people and approximately 65 folks showed up to show their support. We also far exceeded our fundraising goal! A great start to our relaunch campaign.
Big thanks to Bostons for providing such a great venue and warm friendly staff! Very special thank you to Christa Ruffing Harding for helping FreeGirl put on such a great event!
