“FreeGirl Magazine”
“FreeGirl Magazine” is a lifestyle publication centered around issues affecting girls and women and raising the profile of gender-based issues around the world.
“FreeGirl Magazine,” targeted for a February 2010 launch, will take on the issues facing women in society today and rally to change the perceived paradigm by advocating support and self-empowerment.
Joanna Coons, as Editor in Chief , will head the team to develop an interactive magazine which celebrates the female spirit through a publication that offers women a media for transforming their lives. ”FreeGirl” provides editorial and analysis of women’s issues, current events, gender equity/relations, and lifestyle topics.
“FreeGirl Magazine” gives confident, smart women the tools they need to explore and reach for their dreams, to express their individual style and to make choices that will lead to a happier and more fulfilling life. There will be plenty of fascinating articles throughout. You won’t find Madison Avenue’s obsession with youth and beauty, or superhuman models spread all over the pages. ”FreeGirl” will cover real topics about the real woman in today’s real world that influence our daily lives.
“FreeGirl Magazine” will also serve as a window into the soul of The FreeGirl Foundation and its activities both online and offline. It will offer women and girls an excellent opportunity to become involved in the debate that is near and dear to their hearts – raising awareness around gender-based violence and working to make the world a safer place for women and girls everywhere.
“FreeGirl Magazine” celebrates today’s woman through the creation of a new paradigm.
